GREEN LURES

Green birds work well in a diverse range of ocean colors, including those that are lighter shades of blue and even green.

Bodies of water and the natural colors of their native plants, fish, and overall ecosystem affect the way your lures look under water.  This can be the deciding factor in whether or not the fish will strike.

If fish can’t see your lure because there’s not enough contrast for it to stand out, or if it’s not an appetizing color, then you may just miss the bite. Green Malolo birds are an absolute must in every tuna troller’s arsenal.
